Hydroponics – Some Common Misperceptions
Those with limited exposure to hydroponics tend to have some pretty funny ideas. The most prevalent, perhaps, is that most hydroponic users grow marijuana. You’d be mistaken if you thought that was the case, however. Although, it does produce strapping, vigorous marijuana like any other plant, hydroponics reaches a far larger food, flower and tree-growing population than any those in the drug market could possibly hope to capture.
A second common misperception concerns genetically modified food. In spite of the fact both GMO and hydroponics growers both promise solutions to solve global hunger, there’s no connection. Hydroponically grown plants are as natural as stink on a monkey. There’s no artificial insemination of anything going on there, so relax.
